Curious City Journal

Editorial policy

Curious City Journal aims to make city design and urban patterns clear, careful and independent. We distinguish general explanation from claims about a particular place, and we make changes when a published piece needs correction.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual statements against appropriate information and use plain language to explain what a feature can and cannot tell us. Where context is uncertain or varies by place, we say so instead of filling gaps with assumptions. Articles are editorial explanations, not professional advice or substitutes for local guidance.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for readers, not in exchange for payment or access. A commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions, and we do not imply that a partner endorses an editorial position.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error or unclear passage, contact us with the article title and the point in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers where appropriate.

Partnerships and illustrations

Paid placements and partner material are clearly identified so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when relevant, they are identified as illustrative and should not be read as documentary images.
